The naturally variable, windswept character of this choice, slow-growing Japanese White Pine makes it a highly desirable addition to the landscape. It develops multiple leaders that extend at 45 degree angles, with short, blue-green, twisted needles. The wide-spreading plant takes on an irregular, wide form, or it can be trained for a tree-like character. Grows 4-6' tall and 6-12' wide in full sun to part shade. Hardy to Zone 5.
